Mr Hassan Shaaban is a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon, with over 25 years of Plastic Surgery experience. In the NHS, he heads the Head and Neck Cancer Unit at Whiston Hospital, St Helens and Knowsley NHS Teaching Hospitals Trust, Liverpool.
Mr Shaaban is also the Medical Director of ASET Hospital where he conducts his cosmetic surgery practice. As one of the leading plastic surgeons in the UK, Mr Shaaban achieves outstanding results across breast surgery, body contouring procedures and facial/eyes cosmetic techniques. His vast experience in the field enabled him to deal with the complex facial and body cases with great success.
Mr Shaaban has achieved the highest possible clinical and academic plastic surgery qualifications in the UK. He was elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 1997 and passed the intercollegiate speciality examination in plastic surgery (FRCSPlast) in 2006. He has a Master Degree in Surgery and an MD Degree in Plastic Surgery from University of Manchester in 2002. He also has achieved a Diploma in Medical Laser from Loughborough College in 2004.
To share his research and experience, Mr Shaaban has published extensively in top international peer-review plastic surgery journals.
Mr Shaaban was awarded multiple awards and prizes. However, he is so proud of achieving the coveted “Hallett Prize” by the Royal College of Surgeons of England for my performance in the FRCS exam (highest marks).
