Andrea Marando qualified from the Catholic University of Sacred Heart in Rome in 1991,  then began higher training in plastic surgery at the ‘Policlinico Universitario A.Gemelli’, part of the Catholic University. During this period he was awarded several travelling scholarships. He then completed the accreditation process and became Specialist in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1997 after serving as Medical Officer in the Italian Airforce. He pursued further training in Paris (Cancer Centre Institute Marie Curie), France and has been a Fellow in Breast Reconstruction at the European Institute of Oncology, Milan, Italy. He is full member of the  Italian Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons SICPRE (equivalent of the BAPRAS), of the Italian Society of Aesthetic Surgeons AICPE (equivalent to BAAPS),  and Diplomat of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgery EBOPRAS,  of the International Society of Aesthetic Surgery ISAPS, of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons ASPS, of the Rhinoplasty Society of Europe and have the Certification in Cosmetic Surgery  of the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS)

Since 2003 he practices in the North West with a specialist interest in breast surgery, facial rejuvenation and body reshaping.
